I've posted the 5th (and final) in a series of KICKS KooKbooK recipes relating to my successful project to demonstrate over 250 users running at once on hercules under the mvs turnkey, with sub second response time accessing shared vsam files. This recipe discuses building 'realistic' workloads and presents the final version of the script. Using a TK3UPD system as configured here and in the past 4 recipes you should be able to replicate my results.
